Owning about 30 websites under the KaLor Technology brand, we’ve had our experiences with virtually every hosting company under the sun. Some good, some bad, and some bland, I’ve learned over the years that when it comes to web hosting, bigger is usually better. And nobody is bigger than GoDaddy.com when considering your web hosting needs. Most startup and small business sites can survive quite well on a shared hosting platform, and while some web design companies try to upsell those business owners on inflated hosting costs of $100/month or more, we recommend the Ultimate package from GoDaddy.com. It costs $170 for one full year of hosting. Uptime is very good, features and functionality are top notch, and ease of use is industry best. When we build a site for you, more likely than not we are going to recommend this package for your web hosting needs. We do not mark up the cost (we do receive a commission from GoDaddy.com for this sale, but we also receive commissions from about 65 other web hosting companies that we are considered an affiliate of, and we do not recommend those hosting providers). So your cost os $170 for one year of hosting, or you can pay on a month to month basis for $14.99 / month (which we do not receive a commission on). You are welcome to select either option, but we prefer the one year simple because it helps offset your site configuration costs.

Also, I would like to disclaim that we do NOT use GoDaddy.com for this very site at this time. We have an old host through a company called StartLogic that hosts this site. We are not happy with the hosting services provided by StartLogic, and will be switching this very site over to GoDaddy.comhosting as well once our current term is up with StartLogic.
