It is important for people to know who exactly they are working with at KaLor. First and foremost, we are a small e-commerce strategy and delivery firm based out of Columbus, Ohio that serves a global market for companies looking to improve their business by bringing in experienced e-commerce leadership and subject matter expertise.
In a nutshell, helping businesses do more business is our business.
Our founder and president, Joe Rozsa, has launched several of the largest and most successful e-commerce sites in the world, for some of the most popular household name brands in the United States. He’s also launched multiple start-up e-commerce sites with no existing brand recognition and has turned them into very successful businesses for their respective owners.
As for our team, our current business model is to work exclusively with 1099 independent contractors to fill various roles that are needed in the company. Because of all of the different people that we’ve had the pleasure to work with over the past 15 years of e-commerce leadership, we can easily stack the deck with an all star team of program and project management, business analysts, solution and technical architects, developers, marketing / SEO experts, graphics designers, and QA / testers which absolutely ensures success for large and medium sized projects. Because this team has been there and done that, we know that the best way to ensure a successful project is by having the best people possible. Our rock star cast of people virtually guarantee a terrific result for our clients. The old adage about surrounding yourself with good people is the reason for our success.
We work closely with some of the largest companies in the world in e-commerce, such as IBM. We are official Magento and Interspire partners. We’ve implemented platform conversions from Blue Martini to IBM WebSphere Commerce, as well as upgrades from version 5 to 6 of WCS, and now more recently, to V7. We’ve done complete startups using ATG. We’ve helped companies implement GSI Commerce. And many more platforms and systems beyond that.
We have technical expertise in several different e-commerce platforms, and business expertise in planning, leading and operating a global e-commerce business. We are experts at platform analysis to help determine which e-commerce platform is right for you. We can help you estimate the cost and timelines, a skill that can only come from having done that very thing many times.
